A few parting thoughts
So, I'm rationalizing today's game (still in the 6th inning) as follows:
We're playing the Yankees tomorrow, so we're letting our boys rest up by having the Junior Varsity team from my high school play today.
Is that what it is? Lenny frickin' DiNardo.
Not a happy Jess this afternoon.
On a more amusing note, following yesterday's Cubs/White Sox fisticuffs, in today's game, when AJ Pierzjinski (or however you spell it) came to bat the first time, the fans at the Cell gave him a standing ovation.
Made me chuckle.
That's all for now. I've got a pool tournament to play in.
