Welcome back, Pap.

Sorry it's been so long since we've needed you.

Fine, maybe it wasn't a perfect save, but it was nice to be in a position to require your expertise.

People say it's not the destination that counts, but the journey.

That may be true in life, but not in save situations. Quite the opposite. I don't give a rat's ass about the journey, but just give me the destination that I was expecting and I'm A-OK.

Hence, the continued adoration of the Pap.
Jonathan Papelbon. Good man. Fine scholar. Kick ass save machine.

Thank you for giving me something salvageable from this trip to our neighbors of the North.

Oh, and PS - for those interested - the Air Conditioning repair guy came by today.
Didn't fix it, but was here long enough to know that the whole system needed an overhaul. So, tomorrow, all should be fixed.

A little too little too late, since today the high in temp was 70, but I'm pleased as spiked punch that it's getting fixed for the next, all too imminent, heat stroke.

And remember, Jess, that after they perform the fix, and even though it's cool out, to check and make sure that cold air will be blowing your way when you really need it. And isn't it nice to know it was the whole system instead of just you. Tends to get their attention quicker....see ya.
